Instructions
start by rolling out the unbaked croissant dough on a lightly floured surface, and use a knife to separate each triangle-shaped piece of dough.
1 8 ounce refrigerated canned croissant dough
Spread 1 teaspoon of hazelnut spread on the wide end of each triangle, leaving the edges clear of any spread. Then, start rolling the store-bought croissant dough from the wide base until all of the dough is rolled out, creating mini croissants ready to bake.
8 teaspoons hazelnut spread
Preheat the waffle machine and spray it with cooking spray. Place the unbaked croissants in the hot waffle iron or waffle press and close. Cook for around 3 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.

Expert Tips for the best Nutella Croffles
Use chilled croissant dough: Ensure your croissant dough is properly chilled before rolling it out, instead of at room temperature. This helps maintain the layers and prevents the dough from becoming too sticky.
Don't overfill: While it may be tempting to add extra filling, avoid overfilling the croissant dough. Too much filling can cause the Croffles to burst open during cooking and make a mess in your waffle iron.
Preheat the waffle iron: Make sure your waffle iron is fully preheated before adding the Croffles. This helps achieve a crispy exterior and ensures even cooking throughout.
Use cooking spray: To prevent sticking, lightly coat your waffle iron with cooking spray before adding the Croffles. This also helps achieve a golden brown crust.
Cook until golden brown: Keep an eye on the Croffles as they cook and remove them from the waffle iron once they're golden brown and crispy on the outside. Cooking times may vary depending on your waffle iron, so adjust as needed.
Serve immediately: Croffles are best enjoyed fresh and warm from the waffle iron. Serve them immediately with your favorite toppings such as maple or date syrup, powdered sugar, or fresh fruit for the ultimate trendy breakfast or brunch treat.
