Notes
Add-ons & Substitutions
Looking to switch things up? Here are some fun ideas:
Swap strawberries for raspberries, or mix in cranberry juice for a deeper berry flavor.
Try a strawberry limeade version by replacing some of the lemon juice with lime juice.
Want some fizz? Add club soda instead of water for a refreshing summer cocktail twist.
For a tropical twist, blend in a little mango lemonade or even watermelon lemonade.
Sweeteners: Instead of monk fruit like I used, try any sugar like organic cane sugar, maple syrup, honey, or agave nectar (different sweeteners may alter the final taste)
Expert Tips
Use ripe strawberries for the best natural sweetness and flavor. If they’re out of season, frozen berries work, too.
Let the strawberry mixture sit for a few minutes before serving—it helps the flavors meld.
A small saucepan on medium heat can be used to make a simple syrup with granulated sugar and water if you prefer a smoother texture.
A large pitcher is perfect for making a big batch, and it looks beautiful with floating lemon chunks and fresh mint.
