Ingredients
Crust
1 1/2Cupspecans
1Cuppitted dates
1Tablespooncoconut oil
1/2teaspoonsea salt
Filling
1Cuppitted dates
1Cupunsweetened chocolate 100%melted
1/2Cuppure maple syrup
1teaspoonvanilla extract
1/2teaspoonsea salt
1/3Cupdark chocolate chipsI like @lilys_sweets dairy free and sugar free chocolate chips
Garnish:
1Cuppecans
1/4Cupdark chocolate chipspaleo friendly
Instructions
Crust
Grease a 9-in pie pan. Place all of your ingredients into a food processor and blend, until a paste is formed; press into your greased pan and refrigerate
Place all of your filling ingredients -except chocolate chips- into your food processor (no need to wash) and blend; again, a thick paste will form. Fold in your chocolate chips and place on top of your pie crust, smoothing it out with the back of a spoon
1 Cup(147g) pitted dates, 1 Cup(132g) unsweetened chocolate 100%, 1/2 Cup(118.3ml) pure maple syrup, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1/2 teaspoon(0.5teaspoon) sea salt, 1/3 Cup(60g) dark chocolate chips
Garnish with pecans and chocolate chips and refrigerate for 3 hours before serving
