This super easy Oreo® ice cream pie recipe is the perfect dessert for Oreo® lovers. It has an Oreo® crust, layers of ice cream filling, and on top of the ice cream, whipped cream.
And the best part? It’s a no-bake dessert and there’s no need for an ice cream maker!
Ingredients for this easy Ice Cream Pie
This recipe calls for very simple ingredients, found in any big grocery store.
- Pie Pan or pie plate. I used a 10″ pie pan. You can also use a springform pan
- Oreo® Cookies. Whole Oreo® cookies with their filling
- Melted butter. Unsalted, for the Oreo® cookie crust
- Vanilla Ice Cream. For the filling
- Cookies and Cream Ice Cream. For the ice cream filling
- Heavy whipping cream. To top the ice cream pie. Can also be replaced by Cool Whip, but if you have the time, make your own, you won’t regret it!
- Granulated sugar. To sweeten the whipped cream

Substitutions
- For a mint pie: substitute the ice cream for mint chip ice cream, and the Oreo® cookies for mint Oreo® cookies.
- Vegan: Substitute the whipped cream for a vegan version (whipped coconut topping), use a vanilla vegan-friendly ice cream and vegan butter
- Peanut Butter Swirl: Add a peanut butter swirl to your ice cream filling for a rich and creamy texture. Simply melt some peanut butter and drizzle it over the ice cream layer before freezing the pie. You can also swirl the peanut butter into the ice cream using a knife for a marbled effect.
- Carmel Sauce and Pecans: Add layers of caramel sauce and chopped pecans between the ice cream and Oreo® crust. Drizzle a generous amount of caramel sauce over the Oreo® crust before adding the ice cream layer, then sprinkle chopped pecans on top of the ice cream before freezing.
How to make this No bake Ice Cream Pie
- To make the chocolate cookie crust, you’ll need to add 28 Oreo® cookies and the melted butter into a food processor and grind until fine crumbs. Pour crumbs into the pie pan and press tightly with the back of a measuring cup or the back of a spoon, into an even layer on the bottom and sides of the pan. Refrigerate while making the rest
- Take both ice creams out of the freezer and let them soften a bit. Place 10 Oreo® Cookies in a zip lock bag, then crush them into big chunks using a rolling pin. Over a large bowl, mix by hand the vanilla and Cookies and Cream Ice creams, plus the Oreo® chunks, until well combined. Pour the mixture into the homemade Oreo® pie crust and smooth the top of the pie with the back of a spoon until an even layer is formed. Place in the freezer.
- Over a mixing bowl and with a whisk attachment, whip the heavy cream and sugar, until stiff peaks form. Pour on top of the Ice cream pie and use the back of a spoon to create texture and “waves” into the whipped cream. Decorate with Oreo® crumbs and freeze for 4 hours or overnight
- To serve, cut a piece and drizzle with hot fudge sauce or chocolate syrup, and decorate with some more small pieces of Oreo® cookies.
